Three shows from this autumn, all running on Kitto kit: a three-screen video installation in a Regent's Park townhouse, a chant for the glaciers of Chile in the old Pink Floyd studio, and a CRT on a plinth at a queer art fair in Peckham.
Meiro Koizumi, Spirit of Automatism
Spirit of Automatism is Meiro Koizumi's first UK solo show since he won the Artes Mundi Prize in 2021. It brings together video, sculpture and drawing around his idea of the "automated human", a person who acts as if deprived of their own free will. We supplied the screens, media players and speaker stands for the video works, including The Angels of Testimony, and a technician to set them up.
Free, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm, until 20 November, at 13/14 Cornwall Terrace, NW1.
The Soothsayer's Chorus, Britannia Row
Curated by Bettina Prentice and Beth Greenacre, The Soothsayer's Chorus brought sixteen artists together in the warehouse gallery at Britannia Row Studios, the former Pink Floyd studio in Islington. A pair of our Martin Audio CDD5 speakers carried Cecilia Vicuña's Kuntur Ko (Water Condor): Poems & Chants, poems for the spirit of water written in response to the destruction of Chile's glaciers.
Tranz Tropez at Queeriosities
Queeriosities is a travelling art and makers fair for LGBTQIA+ creatives, founded and led by curator Davy Pittoors. At Copeland Gallery in Peckham, Tranz Tropez showed video on one of our Barco SCM CRT monitors.
Screens, projectors, CRTs, sound and playback, on hire periods shaped around the length of the show. Tell us what you need, when and where.
